Consensus Group

This group’s function is determined by the ANSI Essential Requirements, under which we are accredited as a Standards Developer, and under ACCT’s ANSI procedures, which can be found here.

These first seven members of this group have been appointed by the ACCT Board from the applicant pool. These members will select the additional eight members from the applicant pool to fill out the group. The designations after each person’s name indicate whether they represent the User Group, Vendor Group, or General Interest Group.

Committee charge: Work to keep insurance available to Challenge Course Programmers and Challenge Course Builders. When the market allows, work to get optimum pricing and optimum coverage. Committee charge: The Universal/Accessible Design committee supports, directs and carries out activities that enhance opportunities for people with disabilities to access challenge courses and expand the understanding of inclusive challenge course programming. The committee serves the needs of ACCT members and the challenge course industry at large in supporting these endeavors.
