Professional Bio
Bee stumbled into the Challenge Course and Zipline industry just over a decade ago when she packed up her life and moved 1,000 miles to take position as a seasonal canopy tour guide on an island in South Carolina. Having no previous experience and a deep seated fear of heights, it was to everyone’s surprise (including her own) that Bee fell head over heels for the challenge course life. Since that fateful summer, Bee has held positions in many facets of the industry, working in everything from facilitation, to operations management, building, inspections, professional training, and more. She has also contributed to the broader industry throughout her career as a volunteer for the Association for Challenge Course Technology and, more recently, the North Carolina Aerial Adventure Association. In her many and varied roles, Bee has found a passion for safety, staff development, and operational efficiency within the Aerial Adventure world. She also holds several certifications including ICE Professional Inspector (Level 2), ACCT Operational Reviewer, Challenge Course Manager, SPRAT Level 1, and ACCT Level II Practitioner.
