High 5 Adventure Learning Center: Level 2 Challenge Course Cert. Exam
Candidates for the Level 2 Challenge Course Practitioner Certification exam will possess an advanced level of program knowledge and advanced competencies in the area of facilitation and technical skills including all low and high-challenge course elements.
Participants considering Level 2 Challenge Course Practitioner Certification will have taken a minimum of 85 hours (this includes the 50 hrs. from Level 1 Certification) of training based upon attendance at a High 5’s Beyond Basics (https://high5adventure.org/training-and-certification/which-training-is-right-for-me/beyond-basics-level-2-training ) four day workshop (or equivalent training).
Qualifications to take the Level 2 Test are listed here: http://high5adventure.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Challenge-Course-Practitioner-Certification-Table.pdf Testing includes specialty skill areas such as challenge course rescues and written and practical tests. The written test must be passed with a score of at least 80%. Participants must show mastery of all practical skills. Testing at this level takes place over a one day period. Level 2 certification must be renewed every three years.
