International Dialogue

Greetings,

I am Colin Caines, Chair of the ACCT Association International Committee.

 As some of you know, this committee has been tasked by the Board of Directors to assist the Board in their efforts to internationalize the Association and in making the information and resources available to all members who do not work nor reside in the USA.

The committee has been around for 5 years and one of the things the committee does is to organize Dialogue sessions amongst the ‘International members”. You would notice that I put those words in inverted commas. The reason for that is that we are not International Members but simply members of ACCT who do not reside nor work in the US.

As stated above, we do organize dialogue sessions where we sometimes invite speakers to talk on subjects that are close to the heart of our businesses. The next dialogue session (the 1^st for 2023) will be held (via Zoom) on 30^th of June 2023 at 9.30am EST. I will be sending out a zoom link in due course to all of you.

I am pleased to tell you that the speaker we have for the upcoming session is Mr. Rich Klajnscek. For those who know him, know that he is closely associated with the standards that we all follow in ACCT. Rich will be speaking on the evolution of the standards since the 1^st Edition and opine on the future of the standards. This should be a very interesting talk.
