Cleveland is Alive!

The last time we were all in Cleveland, the conditions were less than ideal. Covid had a significant impact, leaving Cleveland with very limited options and a sense of emptiness. But now, I am excited to share that Cleveland is thriving once again! During our conference planning visit, Melissa and I had the opportunity to see first hand just how much the city has to offer and it did not disappoint!

Thank you to everyone who submitted session proposals for our 35th Annual ACCT Conference & Expo in Cleveland, OH, from January 22nd to 26th, 2025. The initial call for presenters has closed, but the waitlist is now open! Click here to submit a proposal to the waitlist. The deadline for waitlist submissions is December 16, 2024. These submissions will be considered if we need to fill gaps in the session schedule as we draw closer to the event.

Our Workshop Review Task Force has begun evaluating the submissions received to provide us with diverse perspectives. This process should be completed by June 28th, helping ACCT Staff and the Conference Work Group make final decisions. We will notify everyone who submitted by the May 31st deadline about the status of their submission in July 2024. Those selected from the waitlist may be contacted at any time before the conference. If you've got a user record on our website (chances are that you do, if you're receiving our newsletter), you also probably have a profile. The video linked above goes through what you can do with that profile, as well as the profiles that company records have attached to them. If you're listed on a volunteer roster, a version of your profile may be viewable to the public. If your company is accredited, that company profile is publicly viewable in those directories. And if you're a member, other members can search for you and find your profile.




Exciting News: Vendor Accreditation Program Updates are Coming Soon!

We are thrilled to announce that a revamped version of our Vendor Accreditation Program is on the horizon! These updates promise to bring new features, enhanced benefits, and a streamlined process designed to better serve our valued vendors and their customers.

Applications for the Summer Virtual Inspector Certification Testing Event open!

This is a great opportunity to join the Inspector Certification program or renew your certification before Fall!

Inspector Certification Exam:
Date: July 25th 2024
Time: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm MST
Applications are due by: June 28th, 2024
$150 Late Fees will take effect from June 29th- July 5th, 2024.
No applications will be accepted after July 5th.

Our June 20th Open Office Hours will be hosted by the Women of ACCTUniversal Design, Accessibility, and Inclusion, and Queer Advocacy and Support affinity groups as we highlight the diversity within the industry.
