Don’t wait! Apply for a scholarship today. We look forward to seeing you in Cleveland!

We've heard from several ACCT members and other industry friends whose courses and businesses have been impacted by Hurricane Helene and the aftermath.

We stand with you during this challenging time. Please know that you are not alone—we are here to support you in any way we can. Whether it’s helping by connecting you with other members, or simply being a listening ear, we’re committed to standing by your side through recovery.
The Fall face-to-face board meeting planned in an affected area, and the necessary shift in location and travel plans has affected our ability to host this week's Open Office Hours. We hope to make this topic happen in the future.

ACCT Award Nominations are open until 10/21!
This year, we have introduced 2 new awards categories, and we need your input! Below is a brief overview of each category, but for a more in-depth description, visit acctinfo.org/awards, where you will also see a list of previous winners of each category and be able to provide your nominations until October 21, 2024 (Some categories are limited to nominations from specific groups noted below).
Award Categories:
  • Critical Link: ACCT’s highest award nominated by the Accredited Vendors. It is presented each year at the annual conference as a thoughtful and sincere thank you to a single ACCT member who has gone significantly “above and beyond '' over a long period of time. It serves as a testament to their dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to the ACCT community. Nominations are received by the executive director and processed by the Critical Link Award Committee, a body made up of past recipients of the award.
  • Volunteer of the Year: Celebrating an individual ACCT volunteer nominated by their peers. Volunteers are invited to nominate other volunteers who they believe have made significant contributions to ACCT's mission and goals, embodying the values of integrity, innovation, and inclusivity. By involving peers in the nomination process and entrusting the selection to ACCT Leadership (ACCT Chairs, Board of Directors, and Board Emeritus Members), ACCT ensures that the Volunteer of the Year Award recipient is a deserving individual.
  • Community Service Awards: Celebrating ACCT volunteers who assist ACCT staff in fulfilling the work of the Association. Each year, the ACCT staff carefully select and recognize deserving volunteers for their outstanding service. These volunteers are identified based on their exceptional contributions, which are deemed valuable and impactful by the ACCT staff members.
  • Innovator of the Year (New!): Celebrating those who have introduced groundbreaking ideas, products, methods, or practices. Any member is welcome to nominate a person (or group of people), organization, or company who exemplifies these innovative qualities. While nominations will be accepted each year, the award may not be given each year due to the rare qualities needed by the circumstances. Nominations will be reviewed by the ACCT Awards Workgroup along with an Awards Selection Task Force.
  • Mover of Mountains (New!): Honoring those who have shown exceptional efforts while demonstrating remarkable perseverance to achieve Association goals. Any member is welcome to nominate a colleague who exemplifies these monumental qualities. While nominations are accepted each year, the award may not be given each year due to the rare qualities needed by the circumstances. Nominations will be reviewed by the ACCT Awards Workgroup along with an Awards Selection Task Force.
How to Nominate:
  1. Visit: acctinfo.org/awards
  2. Complete: The nomination form with details about your nominee's accomplishments and why they deserve recognition.
Award winners will be announced at the 35th Annual International ACCT Conference & Exposition Awards Dinner on Saturday, January 25, 2025, in Cleveland, Ohio. All conference attendees are invited to attend the dinner and ceremony that is included with their conference ticket, but you must select it during registration!

October 9th is our next seasonal casual get-together, with no agenda just a laid-back event to hang out, connect, chit and chat and hopefully a few unexpected hilarious tangents.
