Hiring Role: Challenge Course Installer/Inspector/Trainer

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team or individually to provide installation, inspection, and training services for challenge courses, zip lines, aerial parks, and climbing walls, under the supervision of CUI Management Team.
  • Perform a variety of tasks both on the ground and at height, following established safety protocols, design criteria, and construction practices.
  • Must be available to work daily out of our Bracebridge, Ontario shop and office.
  • This position involves travel across Canada, and the candidate should enjoy both travel and working on the road.

Qualifications:

  • Prior construction experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of safe work practices, as well as the use of hand tools and machinery.
  • Ability to perform a range of common construction and carpentry tasks onsite, under the supervision of a Project Manager or independently.
  • Ability to read and understand basic drawings, instructions, details, and specifications.
  • Previous experience operating challenge course(s) is required. An Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) Level 2 Full Challenge Course Practitioner Certification is considered an asset.
  • Physically and mentally fit to work at heights utilizing various rope-rigging setups.
  • A clean driving record to operate company vehicles and leased equipment.
  • Organized, efficient, quality focused with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency with English language for reporting of key services (E.G. – Inspection and Training reports) rendered by CUI to our client base.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly within a small team.
  • Proficient in computer use; CUI utilizes Apple products, so experience with or willingness to learn Apple systems.
