Join Us in Cleveland and Save: Two Opportunities to Attend Our Annual Conference!

Posted By: Melissa Webb Event Updates,

We're excited to share two fantastic opportunities to join us in Cleveland for our annual conference and save on registration fees. We're putting the finishing touches on the attendee registration portal and plan to launch it very soon—so keep an eye out for that announcement, which is just days away!

Scholarship and Service Crew Opportunities:

At ACCT, we’re committed to creating an environment that removes financial barriers. Our scholarship program offers a unique chance for deserving individuals to actively participate in the conference, connect with industry leaders, and engage in meaningful discussions and networking.

Each year, ACCT awards scholarships to individuals interested in attending the Annual International ACCT Conference & Expo. These scholarships provide financial support for conference registration fees. To be considered, applicants must submit a Conference Scholarship Application. This year, we’re excited to offer a minimum of four scholarships for the 2025 Conference. Recipients will be selected by the 2024-2025 Conference Work Group.

Visit our website to learn more about our scholarship program, application process, and eligibility criteria. Don’t miss this chance to be part of an inspiring event that promotes diversity and collaboration among industry professionals. We encourage all eligible applicants to apply

Another amazing way to get involved and reduce your conference expenses is by joining our famous Service Crew family! The ACCT Conference Service Crew (affectionately known as "Yellow Hats") offers an opportunity to volunteer during the conference in exchange for a 50% discount on your registration fee.

Here’s a testimonial from Lara Kreuter, an active ACCT volunteer who started as a Yellow Hat and received a scholarship:

In 2019, I was excited to attend the ACCT conference in Colorado, but I realized that the only way I could make it happen was by volunteering as a Yellow Hat. In 2020, I received a scholarship to attend the virtual conference. Without these opportunities, I wouldn't have been able to attend. My passion for team building, leadership development, and emotional intelligence has grown through my time at camps, outdoor education centers, and conference centers. These passions align with the work of ACCT and the conference work group. Being part of a committee that puts together a conference continuing the work I love is very special to me."— Lara Kreuter, ACCT Workshop Coordinator

Whether you apply for a scholarship or join the Service Crew, these opportunities are a great way to get plugged into the ACCT community, contribute to the success of our conference, and save on registration fees. We look forward to seeing you in Cleveland!
