REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
- Treetop Quest Atlanta, Georgia
Role:
As Regional Sales and Operations manager of Treetop Quest Aerial Adventure Parks, your role is to lead your teams to reach the qualitative and quantitative goals defined in collaboration with the management of the company, to whom you report directly.
You are the supervisor of all company employees and contractors, your recruits and manage all aspects of their missions.
You solicit internal resources and expertise, in agreement with the company's management, to reach your goals efficiently.
Missions and Responsibilities:
They are carried out under the authority of the Operations Director France/USA, as part of the economic model and development priorities defined within the company. They are materialized through the actions in the following areas:
Business Management:
- You are proactive and drive performance in all parks,
- You visit each park and control performance on a regular, frequent basis (at least once a month),
- You manage the parks, contribute to the improvement of their productivity and their profitability,
- You are responsible for the quality of the administrative and financial management of the parks and the company, you ensure reporting procedures are implemented and you guarantee compliancy,
- You report weekly and monthly to your manager (the reporting includes but is not limited to turnover, marketing and communication actions, KPIs and HR)
- You ensure that costs remain within predefined ratios and that park operations managers control and optimize costs and staffing levels,
- You initiate a weekly group team meeting and a monthly individual meeting to analyze performance and prepare for the following month with the park operations managers,
- At the end of every season, you review the business plans for the following year with the Park managers. This includes, but is not limited to: setting turnover and productivity goals, staffing and financial costs, proposals for design changes to the parks.
- You participate in the elaboration of the annual goals, budgets, and park operations for the following year.
- You manage and ensure sales and spending goals are met,
- You ensure that costs remain within pre-defined ratios. Park operations manager optimize costs and staffing levels.
Human Resources Management:
- You hire your management teams based on business needs,
- You control the PTO and hours for all your direct reports,
- You evaluate annual performance reviews for all your direct reports,
- You ensure that all full-time staff receive timely performance reviews,
- You ensure all health and safety regulations are met,
- You oversee all HR practices, including complaints, onboarding and offboarding, and workmen’s compensation.
Business Development and Communication:
- You oversee the business development of the parks, business objectives and the marketing plan in collaboration with the Operations Director France/USA
- You promote the parks by partnering with institutional agencies in your region by direct contacts and sales actions,
- You know your market; you oversee key accounts and the development of a BtoB portfolio
- You are proactive and propose offers and services to develop the business,
- You may be required to intervene directly in the company’s development-related tasks (business meetings with prospective clients, attending tradeshows, etc.)
- You work to maintain and improve business relationships with city/park services and landlords,
- You mentor the park managers to develop sales through partnerships, trade fairs, and local events,
- You are the point person for all risk management events,
- You are responsible for the security of our guests and staff through regular reviews of our operating procedures,
Business Administration:
- Responsible for annual reviews of insurance policies and audits,
Construction, Maintenance, and park development:
- You ensure compliance with phytosanitary regulations and the inspection of trees,
Customer service:
- You ensure that the Park Operations Managers provide the highest customer service and that all customer complaints and suggestions are resolved in a timely manner. This could include face-to-face complaints, social media comments, or telephone queries.
Other tasks/responsibilities/
- You ensure that the parks are well maintained, secure, and safe and meet the standards required by law.
- Experience with Teams, Word, and Excel is a must.
- You think out of the box, are flexible and solution-based,
- You are available to work on weekends and holidays when needed,
- You complete all other missions that could occur,
- You are proactive and lead by example,
- You have strong analytical skills and are capable of multitasking in a constantly changing environment
The Regional Sales and Operations Manager role requires the following approximate commitments:
Office work: 65%
Home working: 20%
Park Visits: 15%
The role requires flexibility, and you organize your time in accordance with business and seasonal needs.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent analytical skills to assess operational performance
- Proven experience in budgeting and financial management
- Background in sales strategies and execution
- Ability to lead and manage teams effectively in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Recreation.
- 5+ years of management experience in the Adventure Parks or Outdoor Adventure Industry.
- Experience and competent with Excel
- Sales experience a must
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Valid driver's license and CPR/Advanced First Aid certification.
- Familiar with ACCT standards and best practices
