State of Florida Recently Introduced Changes to its Statutes Regarding Amusement Ride Inspections

As mentioned in a recent ACCT news piece https://www.acctinfo.org/news/the-2023-florida-statutes, Florida introduced changes to its statutes in 2020, regarding amusement ride inspections, impacting the qualifications needed for inspectors. ACCT received several inquiries from members about Florida's inspector requirements, prompting the need for clarity. We have been in close communication with regulators from the State of Florida and are working on solutions for how to best support our inspectors working in the state. We are finalizing that plan now and will be sending out information to our community just as soon as that process is completed.
