What to Expect: Inspector Certification Testing at the Conference

The Inspector Certification testing event will take place on Sunday, January 26th, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Check-in begins at 8:30 AM in front of Room Hope A.

Important Note: You must be pre-approved to enter the testing room. This is a written, in-person test, and no virtual testing option will be available during the conference.

Key Deadlines to Remember

Inspector Certification Exam:

• Application Due Date: January 3rd, 2025

• Late Applications: January 4th - January 10th, 2025
  (A $150 late fee applies during this period)

• Final Cut-off: No applications will be accepted after January 10th, 2025.

Inspector Certification Prep Course:

• In-Person Option: Register by the morning of Thursday, January 23rd, 2025.

• On-Demand Option: Must be completed by Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, for eligibility to test at the conference.

Prep Course Q&A Session:

• Date: January 10th, 2025

• Time: 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM MST

• Details: A live Q&A for applicants to ask clarifying questions, discuss prep course content, and address testing concerns.

On-Demand Prep Course

• Cost: $300.00 USD

• Includes:

  • Hard copy of the standards (mailed to you)

  • 15 days of access to the course

• Does NOT Include:

  • Application fees for testing (separate from the testing process)

  • Conference registration (separate from your event registration)

In-Person Prep Course (January 23rd, 2025)

• Cost: $300.00 USD

Important: Registration for the On-Demand and In-Person options is non-transferable. Purchasing one option does not grant access to the other.

Testing Fees and Important Details

Application Fee: $125 (required for all applications)

Testing Fees:

• In-House Exam: $185 each

• Professional Exam: $260 each

• Supervisor Endorsement: $75

• Testing fees do not include ICE Prep registration.

• Testing fees do not cover conference registration.

• Paying these fees does not guarantee a testing spot. You must meet eligibility requirements and be approved to test.
