ACCT Participates in ATOAI National Conference in India
The Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) was honored to be invited to the national conference hosted by the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI). Held from December 3rd to December 8th in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, the event brought together leaders and professionals from across India’s adventure tourism industry. Representing ACCT, Board Member Lori Stover shared insights and explored opportunities for collaboration.

Highlighting ACCT’s Expertise

As part of the conference, Lori delivered a presentation on ACCT’s pivotal role in the development of industry standards, professional development initiatives, and accreditation and certification programs. The session highlighted how ACCT’s standards have been utilized to promote safety and innovation across challenge courses, aerial adventure parks, and zip lines.

The conference also provided valuable networking opportunities, fostering connections between adventure operators and regulators and ACCT and creating pathways for future collaboration.

Looking Ahead

India’s adventure tourism sector is experiencing significant growth, with safety and sustainability emerging as key themes of the conference.

ACCT’s participation underscores the importance of fostering global partnerships and sharing expertise to advance the development of safe, innovative, and sustainable adventure activities worldwide.
