Ready to help campers face their fears, build trust, and take on epic challenges? Let’s turn teamwork and adventure into an unforgettable summer! 

Where you will work:

You’ll enjoy the summer working at Camp Winacka, located in the beautiful Cuyamaca Mountains, covering 625 acres of varying terrain.  A rustic camp with stunning views, lakes and miles of trails is perfect for those looking for a traditional camp environment and experience.  

 

Your summer will look like this:  

  • Team up with the Challenge Course Director to facilitate high and low ropes courses ensuring everyone stays safe while having a blast. 
  • Teach campers how to safely navigate the rock-climbing wall—while having tons of fun! 

  • Lead team-building activities and help campers step out of their comfort zone and safely conquer new challenges. 

  • Work with camp staff to make sure everything runs smoothly, promote a positive camp experience and camper engagement.

Experience and Skills

ACCT Level 1 certification (Level 2? Even better!) 
    • Previous experience working with youth in an overnight camp environment preferred.  

    • Love for heights and climbing (the higher, the better!). 

    • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification (or ability to get it before camp starts). 

    • Ability to commit to and work June 10 – July 27, 2025 

    • Access to reliable transportation.
