What:

Visually and finger-check the tightness of the 2 screws holding the locking nut.

Green = compliant

Red = non-compliant

What are we looking for?

The screw heads must not protrude from the surface of the part. The two parts making up the locking nut must be assembled without space. The thickness of a sheet of paper must not be able to slip between the two elements making up the locking nut.

What to do in the event of a protruding screw or a space between the housing and the cover?

Use a suitable screwdriver (2.5 imbus head) to check if the screw (M3) actually turns. If this is the case, completely unscrew the screw, apply a drop of thread lock. Put the screw back in place.

What:

The lifespan of the Dynema sewn strap has a lifespan of 3 years after the first use. At the end of these 3 years of use it must be replaced.

How:

The color of the stitching of the strap defines the year of production. It can help you to define the date of use. The invoice from KANOPEO or that of your reseller can help you and especially your PPE register.

• SAFEROLLER TROLLEY TYP 3 #3.1 and #3.2

What:

The textile swivel strap of the SAFEROLLER pulley #3.1 as illustrated below (with intermediate stitching) must no longer be used beyond 3 years after commissioning. Please contact Kanopeo or your dealer as soon as possible to change the screw, axle and strap assembly.

The second generation strap #3.2 must be replaced 5 years after first use.

The components constituting the textile swivel must be inspected in their entirety every 6 months. Refer to the latest manual 21. SAFEROLLER PPE TROLLEY TYP 3 2025
