Blackbox Outdoor Education Pte. Ltd. was started in January 2023 to provide distinctive learning experiences for outdoor educators so that they can be confident of providing better Outdoor Education (OE) experiences for their participants. We are a proud offshoot of Pivotal Learning Pte. Ltd. (www.pivotal-learning.com) In order to focus our branding, we decided to rebrand as Blackbox OE.

In the Challenge Ropes Course (CRC) sector, Blackbox OE (formerly as Pivotal Learning) has been a Professional Vendor Member (PVM) with the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) since 2015 for Training and Certifications. The PVM status has been transferred to Blackbox OE but we will continue providing the same high levels of quality and service. We have been training and certifying CRC practitioners with our unique learning methods like 3-D Instructional Model and Identifying Distinctions to prepare CRC practitioners for the challenges on the ropes course.

ACCT is currently accepting workshop presentation proposals for the 2024 Conference, which will take place in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. The conference will be held from February 22nd to 25th, 2024, at the Omni Oklahoma City and the Oklahoma City Convention Center. The deadline for submissions is May 31st, 2023.

open office hours - conversations with your BOD chair
Much like a professor would open their office door at a set time to provide students the opportunity to stop by and talk with no specific agenda, Korey will provide the same type of access and opportunity for all ACCT members. During “Open Office Hours” you are welcome to call in and ask questions, make suggestions, share ideas, give feedback, or just say hello. Her (virtual) door will be open, and she wants to hear from you.

The next “open office hours” will happen Thursday, April 20th at 6pm MST.
